Can I return a product?
Yes. You have 14 calendar days from receipt to exercise your right of withdrawal. The product must be unused and in its original packaging.

Do you accept returns on opened products?
For hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept opened, used, or tampered products.

What happens if my solid shampoo breaks or thins?

Don't throw it away! You can roll the pieces into a ball and stick it on your next bar. This way, you avoid wasting product and continue to protect the planet with every use.

How do I store my solid shampoo in the shower?

Avoid direct water splashes. Use a draining soap dish and keep it away from direct sunlight or excessive moisture. If you're traveling, dry it before storing it and carry it in a reusable, waterproof bag.

Why did my product release oil or change its texture with heat?

Some of our products, especially those containing vegetable oils and natural butters, may experience slight oil separation or changes in texture when exposed to heat or very humid environments. This is completely normal for handmade cosmetics and does not affect their functionality or benefits. We simply recommend keeping them in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight.

How long do they last once opened?

Our products, being handmade and free of artificial preservatives, should preferably be used within three months of opening. Always store them in a cool, dry environment.

What are INCI ingredients?

INCI stands for International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients, the international nomenclature that regulates how cosmetic ingredients should appear on labels.

It is a standardized and mandatory way of displaying ingredients, usually in Latin or English, so that they can be recognized globally.

At Máthe, in addition to the INCI, we explain each ingredient in clear language so you know what you're using on your skin.

Are they safe for sensitive skin?

Yes. Our products are made with organic and 100% natural ingredients, free of parabens, sulfates, and toxins. However, we recommend testing on a small area before first use.

What does it mean for a product to be 'vegan', 'organic' or 'natural cosmetics'?

Vegan: Contains no ingredients of animal origin.

BIO: Made with certified organic ingredients.

Natural cosmetics: We use plant-derived raw materials, without harsh chemicals or petroleum derivatives.

Yes. They are formulated with natural, gentle ingredients like select plant and essential oils, without harsh chemicals or synthetic fragrances.

They are non-irritating and leave their coat healthy and shiny. We always recommend considering each animal's tolerance.

What makes Máthe a sustainable brand?

At Máthe, we take care of every part of the process: our formulas are either solid or in reusable, biodegradable, or recyclable containers such as glass, aluminum cans, or kraft paper.

Our labels are made with cornstarch paper and edible inks, and the wrappers are plastic-free.

Furthermore, in Mexico alone, we have avoided more than 125,000 plastic bottles and 75,000 liters of water compared to traditional cosmetics.

What type of packaging do you use at Máthe Lab?
We choose conscious packaging. We work with paper made from cornstarch and edible inks, as well as materials such as glass, tin, and recycled and recyclable plastics. Our packaging is not 100% exposed for hygiene reasons and because we believe in providing clear information about what each product contains.

Why don't they use artificial preservatives?
Because at Máthe, we believe in artisanal, ecological, and toxic-free cosmetics. Our products do not contain parabens, petroleum derivatives, or chemical preservatives. We use natural ingredients that are safely preserved if stored properly. That's why we recommend using them within the first three months of opening.

Can I customize a kit or gift?

Yes. We offer pre-assembled kit options, and you can also create your own by selecting the products you want. Write to us if you'd like to include a note or special detail.
